Three years ago, I popped open the trunk of my car and poured purpose into paper cups. What started as a leap of faith — and yes, even depleting my 401k — became a movement rooted in culture, courage, and community.
I’m Africa, founder of RhythmNCulture Coffee House — a brand brewed at the intersection of intention and impact. What began as pop-ups and small events has grown into a vision much bigger than coffee. Every cup tells a story of resilience, reinvention, and refusing to play small.
RhythmNCulture isn’t just about what’s in your mug. It’s about creating spaces where culture is honored, conversations are soulful, and community is centered. As we prepare to expand into a membership-only speakeasy experience hidden behind a plant shop, we’re building more than a coffeehouse — we’re building legacy.
At 46, with three grandchildren watching, I’m not just building a business. I’m building generational wealth, opportunity, and proof that it’s never too late to bet on yourself.
